2016, we became the first bluesignRsystempartner in the domestic Denim fabric enterprise, and in 2018 we were awarded the title of "Environmental Protection Integrity Enterprise" (Green Card Rating). Beijiang Textile has been highly recognized by all sectors of society in promoting the sustainable development of the Denim industry. In the past year, 20% of the fabric category sold by the company used sustainable raw materials, which is close to 20 million yards.
below we have listed some of the company's initiatives in energy conservation, emission reduction and green environmental protection, we know that sustainable development has a long way to go and is not just a list.
● A large number of sustainable raw materials are used, such as BCI good cotton, organic cotton, recycled cotton, Tencel/Modal fiber, RepreveB recycled polyester fiber, SoronaB fiber, Sustans @ Shu stretch silk, T400EcoMade, CoolmaxREcoMade, etc.
● Develop and apply a variety of water-saving and environmentally friendly dyeing processes, such as the SWEETINDIGO technology of zero-insurance powder application and the MILLERBLUE technology of pre-treatment, so as to save dyeing water and reduce the pressure of sewage treatment.
● Establish a sewage treatment plant with a daily treatment capacity of 3500 tons, and the COD value of external drainage after treatment is only 5% of the national standard.. Water-saving and energy-saving measures such as steam condensate reuse, sludge drying, flue gas waste heat recovery, LED lamp renovation, water recycling system, etc. In 2016, the installation of grid -218 kW solar photovoltaic distributed power generation system can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 200 tons per year.
● The industry's first light alkali recovery and reuse project for dyeing and finishing wastewater can reduce the use of liquid alkali by 1000 tons/year and the discharge of sewage by 3ooo tons/year.
● The Vietnamese factory is equipped with the latest ITEMAR95oodenim rapier loom. Its iSAVER device makes a breakthrough in eliminating the waste edge on the left side of the fabric and reducing the waste of warp and weft.
● Work with Jeanologia to create an environmentally friendly water washing workshop, using laser and ozone post-consolidation and water washing technology to save a lot of water.
